Refund policy

Thank you for shopping with CycleInn, we appreciate you supporting a locally owned business.

Please read our refund policy below thoroughly to ensure there is no embarrassment if things don’t go 100% as planned.

Refunds

The majority of our products are shipped directly from our NZ based suppliers, and as such we ask you choose very carefully before making any order.

Refunds will only be accepted in the following situations:

  • Damaged products on arrival
  • Faulty or defective products - within warranty period (usually 1 year unless stated otherwise)
  • Following the Consumer Guarantees Act


In all other situations we do not provide any refund, including (but not limited to):

  • If you change your mind,
  • Or you ordered the wrong size/colour,
  • Or you ordered the incorrect part/item before consulting us first

Please read the full product details before purchasing, to ensure you are ordering the correct item.

In any case if you are unsure, please contact us to provide assistance and guidance, to help you order the correct items.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale/discounted items or gift cards.

Returning damaged/faulty items

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, please contact us via phone or email.  Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

You can always contact us for any return questions.

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Shipping

To return any faulty/damaged product, you should first contact us, and once confirmed, mail your product to: Cycle Inn, 133 Devon St East, New Plymouth.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
